R & D Equipment Sales, Inc.
is a New York corporation created to engage in the sale of used machine tools
and surplus plant equipment. It is a member in good standing in the Machinery
Dealers National Association and the Association of Machinery and Equipment
Appraisers.
Although R & D does buy
surplus equipment for it’s own inventory, it also acts as a broker representing
major industrial companies as General Electric Company, Moog Aerospace, and
some small companies for the sale of their surplus equipment.
Due to its geographical location,
R & D depends on direct mail of its catalogs and flyers to market its
growing inventory.
R & D actively markets
throughout the Eastern United States and to past customers in all states.
R & D also utilizes national
publications such as Locator, Used Equipment Directory, Industrial Machine
Trader and others to boost its marketing. R & D is connected by computer
link to the Machinery Dealers National Associations computer system, which in
turn is connected to over 850 machinery dealers across the United States
allowing for immediate and direct access to user “Wanteds” from everywhere.
Randy Warfield heads R & D Equipment with over 23 years in the used machine tool field. Randy has covered all aspects of the business including appraisals of entire plants for companies such as General Motors and IBM. Randy has been involved with many major asset programs and has liquidated several entire plants. His business requirements have taken him throughout Mexico, Canada, Parts of Europe and most of the United States. He has met a variety of challenges successfully while learning a great deal and now has a proven history of accomplishments and adaptability.
